The Starling, also known affectionatly as the "Flying
Rats of the Sky" are a much maligned song bird that
bring "a little bit of England" to all of North America.
Pictured below is a radar picture of these cute adorable
song birds, and although some claim that there are too
many Starlings, the radar picture shows very clearly that
there is room for many many more in our skys.
The common rat, a close
relative to the Starling,
studies show that rats
and Starling have 99.97%
identical DNA.

Bird feeders will attract these sweet song birds, as will hedges and
bird houses with large holes. If you are looking for their nests they like
to build them on the top of hedges and with a little practice are easy to
find. They are also attracted to swiming pools as well as both new and
clean cars.
We are a non-profit foundation, (haven't made any money yet) with one goal in mind.
Promote the public's awarness of Starlings. Donations are gratefully accepted and all
money goes to the Starling Foundation. Send your donations to
